Cast: Komal, Prarthana, Akul Balaji, Rachana Mourya, Tennis Krishna
Duration: 2 hours 12 minutes
Director Khavinbala has selected a story that happens in a day. There are not many characters in the movie. It is about a Bangalore girl who goes to Mysore to meet her would be groom to tell him that she was not interested in him. Though the script and narration are good, too much focus on the hero and heroine looks like it’s overdone.
Prarthana from Bangalore goes to Mysore to meet a boy who had agreed to marry her after seeing her photograph. But Prarthana is not convinced about the boy as she had not seen him. She decides to meet him in Mysore and tells him that she is not interested in him. There she meets Komal who plays cricket with his friends. They bump into each other on many occasions and become close friends. Prarthana decides to spend her time with Komal till she meets the boy. They visit many places, exchange views on many issues and become close
friends. Having failed to meet the boy, Prarthana decides to leave Mysore by 6pm train. But there is a curious turn to the story here when she meets her boy at the station. Who is he?
Komal has proved that he can shine in serious roles too with a neat performance. Prarthana is good. Akul Balaji is a waste. Music by Dharmateja and camera by Balabharani are average.
